Fullalove's Pug
Good to see Fullalove back, and proof if it was needed that the Pug can still be competetive in the right hands. As I recall it's an ex-Bowman/Vic Lee car first used in the NSC back in 1999, plus it's been siting in the garage gathering dust since the end of last season. No testing and no set-up data on Dunlop rubber and Fullalove goes straight out and set's second fastest time in both Free Practice and qualifying sessions then gets on the podium for race one.

Shame the other 306 isn't as good...!
Still, I guess Mark has had somewhat more experience with the car than Wheals. Let's hope that Jay gets a better run out at Brands and livens things up a little. |

Actually I thought Jay did pretty well considering he'd never driven the car before and has virtually no-one with any experience of the car working as a mechanic.
Given the choice I think I would take the Pug over the Marsh's Honda. The Accord is a total shed now and if anything it gives some new insight into just how hard Jim Edwards has been trying this year. |

didn't help Richard Marsh that he had only 3 gears which then dropped to 2!

Not that it's got a whole lot to do with a topic titled 'Fullalove's Pug' () but apparently there was a hole in the side of the gearbox after race one which was somehow patched up?!

Really suprised how quick it was until I read that the restrictions that were placed on all 306's for 2002 had been removed for this season.
Strange to think it's a 4 year old car that can keep up with the 307 and Civic that are all seen as the fastest ever Production spec cars. |

Nice to see Fullalove back. Give Richard Marsh a car he can get into and he will go well. I think considering Jimmy Edwards 307 hadn't been set up at all he did well. Hope to see better things to come at Brands out of all these.

It should be good to see how Fullalove goes at Brands with it being less about top speed there.

Why the surprise at the 306s competitiveness? The lap times weren't realy any quicker than previous years, and we've all seen the Pugs have lots of power down those long straights...

Go Mark! He did well, bless him. It can't be easy blowing the dust of the car and taking it out there for the first time in ages.

At the risk of looking big headed, I did point out that I expected Mark to be competitive, and even put him amongst my choices on the predictions competition. I hope I don't look as stupid as some of you thought I was going to!
