garry should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
St's

When did the BTCC's car become known as Super Tourers and not just Touring Cars? Was it as soon as they became 2 litre or when they had sequentials or when they dropped the engine down and back as from 96?
My view is that a Super Tourer is at least from when they had sequentials if not as late as the dropped engine.

1992 when they introduced the 2 litre singe class they didn't have a proper name. In 1993 those rules became an official FIA cattegory - Class 2.

Class 2 officially became Super Touring in 1995 when the FIA introduced the wings and splitters regulation.
