Rocktracer should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Turkington Takes Thrilling First WIN

An amazing last lap dash has given Turkington his first touring car win!!

A restart with one lap to go, and Muller leading went wide allowing Turkington through With Reid trying to pass on the inside pushing them both of!!

O'Neill 2nd with Reid and Muller 4th and 5th.

VX racing shouldn't complain as i seemed to remember they did the same trick at Brands Hatch earlier on in the tear.

Wish they'd been as eagle eyed last weekend.

Then the same marshals couldn't spot an oil slick the size of Kent at Druids.

Oh well they can't all be perfect all of the time... unlike your good self, I'm sure.

As it goes the safety car was called to allow the marshals to safely remove Chilton's rear bumper from the track. However it had been run over by another car and knocked out of harms way by the time it had arrived on track.

I agree the safety car was needed but it was to late and it ruined the race.

I thought it made the race result far better, Muller didn't win and his championship lead isn't as big...

And don't forget it allowed MG another win..

Have to say the end was all rather confusing! Couldn't understand how Muller ended up so far down and how Turkington had managed to win it but it happenned!

Good to see and MG double too, thats the second time I've been to brands Hatch and seen it happen! Top stuff!

Turkington won it because he started in third place, had been in 2nd place since the first lap, and made a great move on the restart to get past Muller and take the lead. What's so confusing about that?

Well done CT :-) I know he could do it. First time I meet him was at Croft last year. So timid out of the car but an massive talent and a true racer in it. I'm so glad he finally cracked it. 3rd at Croft last yeah in the '01 MGs under Team Atomic Kitten showed his potential and the fact that now MG seem to really be coming on song is great his career. I wish him all the best with the title next year and hope he can win a few more for MG and really put the wind up VX & Honda.
