Drivers outside of BTCC

As BTCC is a weekend (mainly) event, I was wondering what all the driver's do during the week - both BTC-T & BTC-P drivers.

Anyone know?

Most of them work for a living - and to pay for their racing...

Is the pay for race driving instruction good then?

Alot own their businesses. Blencowe has one, Boardman does, Thommo has two that were his late dads, Matt Neal runs a business with his dad

I would have thought most of the drivers, well the factory drivers at least (maybe except the Honda drivers) would have been fully-paid professionals.

I started a thread a while ago asking who gets paid but got slaughtered by one of the members....dunno why.

I think the only paid drivers are (correct me if i am wrong)
Thompson
Muller
Reid
Hughes
Bennett
Leslie

No - it belongs to/was started by his father, John Boardman. Same with Blencowe - the company is a family concern rather than being his own.
