Ok, so I saw this on my NASCAR.com/Eyetide viewer screensaver....what is it? something to hold the body on???
..sorry its Gordie's car, but there wasnt another choice!

I believe what we're looking at here is a rear bumper cam, and that semi-circular balck thing with the Dupont logos are the stickers you see at the bottom of the shot on TV...
Could be wrong, though...  I will look for something similar in the pits this afternoon at MIS qualifying and ask a crew member to be sure (if it doesn't rain
