She really looks different without the red suit and hat. Think they'll be the next Brooke and Jeff?

So, McMurray will be in Ganassi/Sabco Dodge with Texaco Havoline colors next season, or do I have the right information?

I think you're right. And will have the #28 on the side. It will be nice to be able to cheer for the #28 Texaco/Havoline car again. Didn't care for Rudd, and hated Jerky Irvan.

Until I saw her without the hat I thought she had dark brown hair though. But yeah most of the drivers have blonde girlfriends/wives. Jeff Burton is about the only one I can think of who don't.

Isnt it going to be the #38 Texaco car? Unfortunately McMurray's win shows just how reliant drivers are on team and car setup in oval racing :-/

for 2003 :
Robert Yates is going to the #38 on what is now the #28 car.
(Ricky Rudd is driving the #28 this year.)
The #38 car will have M&Ms as a sponsor. (next year)
Elliot Sadler will drive this car.
-------------------------------------------------------
A interesting footnote is that the car Elliot Sadler is leaving (Wood Brothers #21) will be driven by Ricky Rudd next year !
-------------------------------------------------------
Texaco/Havoline is going to Chip Ganassi on a 3rd car.
That 3rd Ganassi car is rumored to have the #28.
So the number will go with the sponsor in this case.
And Jamie McMurray will drive this car.
-------------------------------------------------------
Andy Petrey is the odd man out and is looking for sponsorship for the #36, which Ken Schrader is leaving at the end of this year, whew !
-------------------------------------------------------
Confusing, isn't it ? LOL

i thought that I just read where Schrader would be driving a Federated Auto Parts car for Petree next year. Did I get the owner wrong? Geez, wonder how much Federated has in their racing budget? They already sponsored him in over 50 races this year. If they sponsor all his "small" deals, which I'm sure they will, he will be in a Federated car/truck in almost 100 races in a year. Whew!! Good to see a sponsor hanging with their guy.

I didn't think that the #36 was a Petree car. Thought he was the #26 and #66.

Andy Petrey is looking for sponsorship but he doesn't own the 36 !
Andy owns the 55 ! Sorry bout that.
Andy shut down the 33 for lack of a sponsor and now .....

The 36 is owned by MB2 and they will be looking for a sponsor too !

2 in a row !!!

it's hard to beat luck like that !!!
Mark Martin says "Put yourself in a position to win."
Jamie is learning fast what it takes to win,
and it doesn't hurt to have good luck on your side.

The latest I could find anywhere was where jayski had:
* Schrader and Federated Auto Parts to Petree? Ken Schrader might be headed back to Andy Petree Racing, primarily because he is bringing a sponsor. Federated Auto Parts, which sponsors Ken Schrader Racing's trucks and late model programs, is expected to move to Winston Cup in 2003. Schrader, who last drove for Andy Petree in 1999, is losing the #36 ride he has had since 2000. Bobby Hamilton is leaving Petree's #55 Chevy (of APR)(Sporting News)(10-28-2002)
UPDATE: Ken Schrader and Bobby Hamilton have been keeping a low profile recently as they scramble to line up rides for next season. Insiders figure that Schrader will likely wind up back with car owner Andy Petree, although Petree himself is scrambling for more sponsorship money.(Winston Cup Journal)(10-29-2002)

is there an announcement that they missed?
