One of the best meetings at Oulton, this one. Those V8's are great. Looking forward to it myself.

Nothing like the sound of a proper British V8. Or the sight of a 1920-something museum piece getting slung through the chicane sideways, with the driver hanging out of the side of the car wrestling with a steering wheel that's twice the size of the car.
After being the first date in the diary this year, changes at work mean I will be in London that week, so forced to do the Touring Cars instead. First time I've had to back out of a meeting since I started, so apologies to the organisers |

Just a quick thanks to AMOC and the team at Lakeside today
Some good racing despite some small grids and only a couple of spins and an oil slick to deal with Good team, good banter and apart from the cold wind the weather could have been a lot worse, my last race meet of the year Roll on training days and next season! See some of you at the hotpot supper, be warned MAtthew is also coming |

Was gutted I had to miss this meeting, and the AMOC sprint at Curborough last weekend.

Had a cold, wet & windy day flagging at Foulston's Advance. Shame the rain came down for the Ferrari Race.Still a cracking race though. Had to laugh at the reply from Med 1 that the Lady Doctor could not wait to check out the driver who had backed his car into the tyre wall at Shell, As the driver was Chris Rea.

I was at the meeting yesterday(As car prep/spectator).
You guys go a great job, most don't realise how many marshalls are needed at a race meeting, I counted 40 from where I was standing. It was so flippin cold, and wet and one point. Now which one of you collected the exhaust of the yellow Aston V8. |

Slightly embarrasing, as none of the six people on post got the car's number, so I had to tell race control that we'd got a silencer of a yellow car & that I'd let them know the number next time he came round. . . he didn't come round again! We were pleased to see that it was more firmly attached for the race! As usual for AMOC some good, clean racing - & some lovely cars! . . . and anyone who thinks big grids are essential for good racing should have been watching that last race! |

The car looked virtually undamged when it was out with a different driver during the last race |
