Afraid i missed the race, its obvious where my loyalty lies so if someone can fill me in with what happened i would appreciate it, from Franck's website i gather he got caught up in the first lap tangle, (Marcos fault?) after a pit he then tangled with Antinucci, (racing incident?) after he got his suspension straightened he then carried on getting data from the car and set the 3rd fastest race lap, cheers guys.

Yeah, he was involved, but I don't think any of that was Marco's fault (this time). Here's the vid...

That first lap was horrible. It was a carnage of cars involved. Unfortunately Danica was caught up in that. Dixon was lucky to have gotten back out so soon and back on the lead lap.

As for Sonoma, well, it was a good race (if not spectacular). Plenty decent enough to prevent me complaining. I am utterly over-joyed that Mike has finally managed to get the kind of result we all knew he could get if he didn't fall into his too common trap of silly errors (well, I guess DF is still mystified every time he runs well, but there you go, ). There must be something about the IRL scoring system, for it just seems to consistently provide close title races. Last edited by Dutton; 25 Aug 2009 at 04:18. |

With my satellite provider I have to buy a fairly expensive package of stations to get TSN2. I do not want any of the other stations so I will not pay a lot to get TSN2.

Update on Will Power..
Penske Racing driver Will Power, injured in a practice accident at Infineon Raceway on Aug. 22, won't require surgery, according to orthopedic specialist Dr. Terry Trammell. During an examination Aug. 31, Trammell determined that Power suffered fractures of his second, third and fourth lumbar vertebrae and a fracture of his fifth thoracic vertebra in the crash that also involved Nelson Philippe. Trammell expects Power to recover with rest and rehabilitation. Power will continue to wear a back brace during an expected recovery period of at least four months. Power, who also suffered a concussion and a chipped left front tooth in the incident, will begin physical therapy for his back injuries this week. After completing his rehabilitation, Power is expected to be ready to compete by the IndyCar Series season-opening race in March 2010. |

Will Power still drive for Penske in the first race in a third car? (Will Will if you like...)
