I'd was ready to give it to Alonso even before Vettel went out.

Any of the three WDCs on the podium would be deserving.

Schumacher easily for taking the risk to change tires with 16 laps to go even though he was catching Raikkonen at the time and then battling back up to that position.

19th to 4th (maybe 3rd?) is a better improvement than 11th to 1st...

Has to be Alonso for me.
But then again, if someone can vote for Vettel, perhaps I ought to vote for Grosjean........ |

I've given it to Grosjean because I think he had an excellent chance of victory before mechanical failure robbed him....tho of course you could say the same for Vettel......and you have to say that Alonso didn't really put a foot wrong....

Alonso! Just class.
Podiums were well deserved. Webber drove great. Lots of great drives throughout the field. Shame about Grosjean, but he knows the car is a winner, so he shouldn't be too disappointed. |

I went with Grosjean. I think he drove a fantastic race and it was a mechanical issue that robbed him.
Alonso would be close second for mind, but you kind of expect that sort of performance from him. :P |

Very difficult to call between Grosjean and Alonso. But those passes were a lovely balance of aggression and skill. Lovely.

Much as I am not a fan of Alonso, I thought he drove an immaculate race. So he get's my vote.

I struggle to warm to Alonso and don't enjoy seeing him win as I do others however I voted him best today.
Because of how I feel about his personality I'd love to say he's not the best driver in F1 but his drive today was outstanding and it's drives like this that convince me that he's the best. Yes I know without mechanical failures Seb would have won today but Alonso keeps delivering even when you feel the car does not have the performance in it. |

Alonso driver of the day for me. An impressive drive filled with luck and determination and the ability to push when needed.
Honourable mentions to, Grosjean, Kimi and Hamilton. All impressive throughout although some more unlucky than the other. |
