Skeen starting the season in the GTR also had something to do with Johnny O winning the title too

You got it nailed. If only the world knew all that you know about sanctioning bodies fixing races and outcomes, we would all be better for it. My problem is I attend too many races in person. I need to spend more time at home behind locked doors studying the malfiesence.

Where did I say anything was fixed? The first gen CTS-V in PWC was much, much different than any car it raced against. The dimensions of that car were nothing near it's road counterpart, and it had a tube-framed nose so they could mount the engine much lower and farther back than it would be on the road car. None of the other cars in that class at the time had anything like that going on.

Wow, did you actually watch the series or just hate Caddy? I believe if you want to whine about anyone getting to cheat it was ACS and Brandon Davis' Mustang which was insanely far from stock. But why let actual facts interfere with a grudge and delusions?

WC ACS Mustang build

I never said the cars were stock, but the Caddy wasn't anywhere close to its road going counterpart.

So, guy buys, say, a BMW Z4 GT3 to flog around, ages, barns it, passes without his wife knowing about the car. Maybe someday I could happen upon this barn, whether bought or to restore or demolish it...

That was my first thought, but the 650S is an upgrade kit to this model so unlikely.

I've heard a couple of teams are replacing their whole cars (McLaren teams) with brand spanking new 650S' so who knows, who's funding K-Pax these days?
