What color for Renault next year

What do you guy's think of maybe a chrome car ? that would be nice to such a car. I think they are going to go in the grey direction like there info books

Renault got 3 colors in there garage Dark grey yellow end light grey so maybe it could be 1 of these colors
Ore do you guy's maybe know something more like me ?

It could depend on a few things:

Is Mild Seven staying?
Is Benetton staying?
Will any major sponsor affect the colour styling?

Otherwise, they could turn out cars that look exactly like the previous Renault cars of the 1980's, but they were damn ugly.

Hopefully the Renault designers come up with something eye-catching.

Mild Seven is leaving.

It's my understanding that Renault wants yellow cars as that's the corporate color scheme.

I doubt any sponsor will have a great impact on the final livery.

renault cars in other formulas are mostly yellow! that would hold certain 'clash' problems with jordan though

I don't think the colours of other cars will come into it, why would it bother them.

Remember 2000 - yellow minardi's and Jordans
- the old Scudaria Italia cars, similiar red to Ferrari

Isn't it Benetton the one leaving? Or Am I outdated and BOTH are leaving?
International Renault Colors are Dark Gray, Light Gray and Yellow

My apologies facco, I had thought that that the Benetton family's departure from the sport was a foregone conclusion. The only surprise is the Mild Seven are on the way out.

As for the color scheme, yellow is the predominent color-the stripes, whether dark gray, light gray or black, are secondary.

Please no more duck egg blue. It's just a really ugly colour to paint a racecar. It looks nice in a bathroom or perhaps a bedroom, but not so good on a 800bhp racecar

I go along with yellow, but to say they won't care about sponsors colours is a little rash. If someone is going to come up with millions of dollars to sponsor them, then like williams etc, the colour of the car will be radically different.

Somewhere up the top of this list chrome was mentioned. Does anyone remember the original B+H gold that Jordan sported. Just didn't work on TV and (although I may be completely out of memeory here) something tells me that the paint was too heavy (??). I recently came across a pic I took of Brundle in the "gold" car and it looked hideous. The mind boggles at chrome

It would be good to see such a large corporation involved in F1, especially given the recent decline in dot.com stocks!
