Oulton regulars will know Cliff as the fella that does the tours for newbies!
I've just read in the BMMC North Newsletter that our Cliff has not been too well of late, following a Stroke. I'm sure many of you will join me in wishing him all the best for a speedy recovery. |

Thank you all for your good wishes to Cliff. Our regional contact with Cliff is Dave Cleaveley and I am sure he will pass on your messages when he sees him next.
On a personal note I have much to thank Cliff for especially when I was a trainee Observer, his guidance helped me cope with many sticky situations. In this current climate of trying to find and keep new marshals, this is a timely reminder of some of the wealth of knowledge that has been availble to us and taken for granted. |
