So, if they're topping out at 186mph at Homestead, what sort of top end were they doing at Daytona?
This certainly could make things more interesting, having to put greater onus on having a downfroce set-up that doesn't compromise top speed quite as much as in the past. |

Wasnt AJR running the de facto Porsche factory DP team? Ran Auberlin and Hand at Homestead meaning they lost all or some of the factory support with the factory drivers not being there this season? Not usually a fan of GA just thought I would check out the race when nothin else was on today.

In the final analysis, the Evil Red Car was not nearly as evil as it was last year, in response to the first post. [Although their PR says they had a gearbox issue.] AJR did do well, and it'll be interesting to see if the new bodywork is a significant improvement. SunTrust is looking a real threat once they get more miles with the new car. Plumb was looking pretty racey at the end there. Nabbing pole and crashing out in 3rd bodes well for Brumos (not the crashing out part but the in third).
Definitely need more races before picking a single championship favorite. |

As an italian I have to regret the Dallara car was bumped out by a dubbed driver when leading the race; they could have had a tremendous debut!
