Possible to add the Lister LMP to that list? I'd imagine they'd be very keen to race next year after this year's absense...?

I think I heard too Mark Cole on Eurosport mention a Toyota LMP briefly, anyone got any information on this?

I don't think Audi will have five new cars at Le Mans. Two (maybe three) seems more likely, maybe with Champion getting new cars thereafter. Also, what makes you think Rob Dyson will show up?

No real info, no. But when the LMP1 rules were being thrashed out, it was rumoured that SARD was consulted, perhaps with a view to a Toyota-powered prototype project at some point in the future. I'd be surprised to see a full factory effort.

The factory Zytek team will have to replace their 04S chassis as well. Will they race if do not have any chance of overall victory?

By the way your potential LMP1 list contains a lot of LMP2 cars Of course guessing the LMP2 entries is far easier than the LMP1 as there exist no true LMP1 car (only hybride ones) at the moment

Zytek are building a new LMP1 car.

The 'LMP2 entries' are teams who are likely to step upto LMP1 i.e. Kruse and RML with either Courage or Lola.

I don't think teams like Kruse or Miracle will move already to LMP1 in 2006 because their current LMP2 cars are still not so long in their hands.

What about RML - got a class win now, reckon they'll want to defend a title or go for an LMP1 attempt? Personally though I'd say stick with LMP2 for another year for them because they'd have a higher chance of winning...

How easily can the Lola B05/40 be converted to an LMP1 car?

Maybe we see RML and Paul Belmondo in LMP1 next season? I think these are the better funded teams (and for this reason on the podium at Le Mans?) who can afford a move.

They both announced at the Courage party they want to step up in 2006.

I think Miracle are keeping their LMP2 and buying a new LMP1 (unknown manufactuere at the moment).

LC70, I thought, but that may be a faulty recollection. Let's hope it's a good 'un.
