Had to go with Alonso, great qualy and waited behind button then took his chance, just a shame he was driving a ferrari

Even Alonso was quick to admit he did not pass Button by any means other than the previously unthinkable better Ferrari pitwork in getting his car back on track quicker than the McLaren pit could manage with Button.

It must be a great worry to McLaren that Ferrari, the usual clowns of pitlane, more often than not the butt of such jokes as the Singapore snake, or the wrong tyres, etc etc have won a race due to their better than McLaren pitwork and strategy, leaving Button, the better driver on the day, in a no win situation.

I think you have Martin Whitmarsh to thank for that; he looked somewhat uncomfortable when asked about the pit stop strategy on the BBC coverage.
