Webber needs the ban hamster part 2
Previous thread was closed down because of people defending the indefensible.
Would like to see them come back and defend the anti-racer now. Yet again, a driver overtakes Webber fairly; yet again, Webber reacts by punting them off. The man is a disgrace. He should be sat down for 2 races to negate the advantage he has gained through his "driving". It's motor racing, not bumper cars. Someone tell Webber that. |

Maybe we should sit Hamilton down for a race for playing bumper cars with Ferraris at Monza.
Maybe the moon should just fall from the sky so a night race could not be possible. Either way, I want a Happy Meal. |

Come on. You don't need to have been a driver to comment on someone who punts someone else just because they are overtaken. |

I thought being overtaken actually meant being completely ahead of the car you were passing?
Clearly I have this whole racing business wrong. Either way, where the **** is my Happy Meal? |

Nah, racing incident.
If McLaren hadn't cocked up their strategy, Hamilton wouldn't have made that move because he would've been ahead of Webber. |

As a big Hamilton fan, I would dearly love to sit here and rage about how awful Webber was there, and how he has basically cost Lewis the chance to win the championship this year. But I can't do that, as I don't think he did anything wrong.
Lewis was ahead, but not 100%, and Mark had the inside line for turn 7. He had not 'overtaken' Webber, he was merely alongside. Had Mark braked late an understeered into Lewis, I would say his fault and be mad at him. But he didn't, he hugged the kerb on the inside and there was nowhere else he could go. Lewis just didn't leave enough space, which was an unfortunate error considering had he just given Mark a bit more room he would have had the inside for turn 8. Racing incident, Lewis's mistake. |

It was a racing incident. Two into one won't go. The stewards called it right.

If your talking about Turkey and Singapore, you must mean its the second time a driver has turned across on Webber while he has held his line. The fact that he didnt recieve a penalty for either backs up that it wasnt his fault in both incidents. Dont let your love of Lewis "The Chosen One" Hamilton cloud your judgement. |

Sebastian Vettel is a disgrace for not cannonballing into the side of Alonso to benefit Webber.

I was thinking of other past incidents, e.g. Melbourne when Webber hit Hamilton, Nurburgring last year when Webber apologized for hitting Barrichello, Monza (I think) last year when Webber was penalized for weaving into Heidfeld and so on. |

They're all a bloody disgrace for racing each other.
Ten-place grid penalties for everyone at the next race. |

Of course, the real blame lies with the McLaren mechanics. They should build their suspension out of Reinforced Carbon-Diamond-Titanium like Red Bull and Ferrari seem to. Their suspensions never break no matter how hard you hit them!

Funny how many Australians are defending Webber. It's one heck of a coincidence, isn't it?
