So what are your early tips for the first 500 of the year? Another HRT cleansweep?

Will they go pop?

Kmart to come good?

Who will win the Rodney award?

Can Clowndes do it?

Will Radisich turn it around?

Will there be a stormer in the field?

Now lets pray for rain!

I'm really looking forward to the Adelaide 500. at least it's format remains unchanged (unless I've missed something!!) There's always something about the 500 in Adelaide that makes it memorable ... I can't wait.

anyways ... more predictions ... hmmmm, let's see ...

Another HRT cleansweep? please, NOOOOOO!!

Will they go pop? do you mean HRT? I'm confused

Kmart to come good? possibly ...

Who will win the Rodney award? Rodney, of course!!

Can Clowndes do it? it's quite likely that he can

Will Radisich turn it around? hopefully!!

Will there be a stormer in the field? yeah ... Garth Tander

next weekend, right? can't wait ... BRING IT ON!! and as always, GO FORD!!

Isn't always something of a strong word, Tickfordchick?

After all, the race has only been running for two years...

Now this could count for always:

Ray, get over yourself. You KNOW what I meant!

Whether you like it or not, V8Supercar IS the premier category of motorsport in this country. And it wouldn't matter if the 500 in Adelaide had been running for two years or twenty, it is ALWAYS a good race.

well i would have to say that after seeing Gibson motorsport race at phillip island, they will be a front runner due to there great pit stops.

Radisich will be quick, however will probably get tangled up with someone else, as per usual - hopefully not though!

HRT will be up the front like always - But if they are not, i will be the happiest man alive!

Ambrose will be one to watch out for also, this guy is quick for a young fellow!

Seeya!

If a Ford wins and I hope they do it'll be either Lowndes, Ambrose or Radisich. They are the top three Ford drivers judging on Albert Park and Phillip Island

Ambrose will be the stormer in 2001-it would be great to see HRT `pop`,(great for us ford fans anyway),but i cant see it happening .You have got to hand it to TWRA/HRT---1st,3rd,4th at phillip island, they are still `on it`

And yet another Ford fan enters the forums Yippee

So what are your early tips for the first 500 of the year? Another HRT cleansweep?
- Sadly, i think something out of the ordinary is going to have to happen for anyone else to win....anyone here going to the track? Can you take a pair of rocks with you? Elephinio- I'm looking your way because of the fine job you did on puncturing Morris's tyre at Wakefield earlier in the year

Will they go pop?
- We can only hope...but they have been very good since the first few rounds of last year...

Kmart to come good?
- Murph and Kelly may be a big surprise...Kelly has been very surprising of late...

Who will win the Rodney award?
- ??

Can Clowndes do it?
- I hope so...I've been barking for him of late...just trying to spite Holden fans i think

Will Radisich turn it around?
- A new car...will be looking good...

Also- what do you think of Team Kiwi's chances for this weekend? And yay- Heathy will be back again on the streets of Adelaide!

Another FORD fan to keep the rest of us company:d

It is about time Skaife had another of his stupid accidents, and this weekend is as good a time as any

Murph to be on the podium and hopefully above the HRT cars

Rodney award....Angus fogg of team kiwi into his team mate whilst battling for 34th place with Paul Romano.

Lowndes will be up there again this weekend

Radisich will be trying extra hard to make up the points 1st ford home on the top of the podium

Another one for you all.......How long before we see the first crash in pit lane?????. Paul Romano hits Mark skaife in Sundays race when Jeff Grech stuffs up in the pits.

if the clipsal 500's luck stays like it has for the last 2 years, then i'm hoping radisich starts last for race 2 cause that usually means they win that race

thanks for your warm welcome and yes I too have BLUE blood running through my veins!!! picks for the first 500? here goes... -another HRT(Hormone Replacement Therapy )cleansweep?sadly ,yes it looks that way -K-mart to come good?after phillip island it looks as though they are already onto something good -Rodney award?it`s hard to pick now that Richard Mork has gone to the Konica series.... -Lowndes?his teams amazingly quick pitstops will have him up there again, not to mention his driving talent! -Radisich?will once again be squeezing every ounce of performance out of his new DJR Falcon,my guess is that if HRT do stuff up,it will be The Rat or Ambrose ready to pounce and bring all those lovely points FORDS way! GO DJR in 2001!!!

Hypo,

Welcome aboard. All the best of us are Ford supporters. The Holden guys can't operate a computer and have enough neurons left to breathe, so we're all safe here.

And a Taurean as well. Good to see.

Just get right in amongst it!
