Zsolt Baumgartner Shows up well

I guess it's all the question of money and not talent. I think Zsolt did ok, but he is for sure not the most talented driver out there, but he could come with $10 million attached to his name. Now that makes him look fast, smell fast and everything else. I am sorry if you did not know, but that is how motorsports work nowedays.

Montoya was putting in 1:24s before getting out ahead. When webber pitted he was putting in all 1:22s and his in lap was 2s faster then webber. Now webber lost a few secs in the pits but eventually I think montoya would have picked him off.

Not saying webber is a worse driver but he is in a JAG and montoya is in a W.BmW.

Altough I will say this it did cost him a place to coulthard.

I talked to Zsolt on Tuesday about the race. He said that in the first 10 laps he did not get the feel of the car, but after his first pit stop his laptimes got better and better. He did keep up Ralf on purpose, or he said "I was not too keen to get out of his way". Ralf made a big mistake by being nasty to him before the race. Other than that, he is trying to find the backing for next season in F1. Taking the fact that the Minister of Sports, and the Primeminister both called for big companies to support Zsolt, it could even be possible. I am a little bit pessimistic but who knows, he might ends up in F1 after all. Eddie Jordan said that if he gets the required budget (according to the press it is $10million), he will get the drive alongside Firman next year.

Well, I hope he stays. I like his style, he doesn't have respect for so-called top-drivers, he seems to be a nice guy in general. He's just "jo"

It's about the time some countries lost their monopoly on having a bunch of drivers even if there are better talents in the other countries.
