Received this from a tenths 'lurker'. Any advice appreciated, as I've never been.....

"Am off to Monaco spectating with wife this w/e. First time there (although did go for the F1 years ago)

Have hotel and grandstand tickets but not sure how accessible paddocks are, so if you have any tips, it would be appreciated."

It’s normally difficult Mike . Think they might be able to get to paddocks on Thursday . They will need passes .not sure how many we will have . If I get spares might be able to sort . In the past we have passed them through the fence . Keep you posted .

Yes Mike paddocks are open to ticket holders Saturday and Sunday and even other days, entrance behind the long building by the Harbour, I always suggest to have K places by the swimming pools so you can enjoy the large screen and close to the paddock. So far weather is fine

Working for me using Firefox.

Iain showing as 9th fastest at the moment.

Turned out that was right at the end of the Free Practice so he stays 9th for now.

Can now make it work on the iphone, but i need a microscope (!), and Iain's session is over, which was the one i wanted to watch, as i have several mates in that one ... oh well, it's only FP1!

The Live timing is quite a comprehensive bit of software. Pretty interesting when it's running.

However I have yet to find any reference to any source for results.

It may be that they are not publishing FP results but it seems a bit odd that a well developed web site does not seem to have a link to any results. Maybe they will only bother when it is Qualifying and the documents will simply be put in the Downloads folder?

Or perhaps they will revise the pages and add a link overnight?

Or maybe one has to find the Timing Organisation's web site?

Who knows ....

Tight times in the midfield Iain. Not too much pizza I trust - the times suggest that every ounce counts!

Well, I reckon with only half a pizza (Bull's Head size) and one less bottle of beer - plus the revised gear ratios of course - you could get up to 6th on the grid.

Better still if you have a chance to persuade your nearest competitors to partake of extra pizza and beer that might slow them by several tenths!

Entry lists shows Alfa Romeo engine. Probably very special when you see the lap times! Enjoy your stay.
