The Calendar Thread 2013...

My little thought here is that this thread could be a place to find out the various calendars in the world of club racing. Gradually, over the coming months, people could post the calendars here for their fellow fans or competitors to see.

If this not a good idea then feel free to close this down, but if not, get posting!

March 26th Snetterton – Test Day

April 13th/14th - Snetterton (300/200)
May 6th Brands - Hatch (Indy)
June 2nd - Anglesey (Coastal)
June 14th/15th/16th - Spa Franchorchamps
June 29th/30th - Cadwell Park (Full)
July 13th/14th - Castle Combe
August 3rd/4th - Pembrey
August 24th/25th - Donington Park (National)
September 21st - Oulton Park (International)
October 19th - Snetterton (200)

Where there are 2 day meetings it has still to be decided which series will run on which day

Looks good to me! I'm guessing the TBA will probably be Brands Hatch GP on the F2/I'ntl GT Open grid if they return this year.

Its could Friday/Saturday as they may be night qualifying on the Friday as I'd imagine its a racing into the dark meeting at the time of year.

I'm glad they've gone back to that format. It made good watching last year when they did it that way. I like the Brands night races but going into the night rather than starting in the night is better.

great thread, the MSVR site has had news releases over the last few weeks which have revealed a few provisional club racing calendars

e.g. Lotus Cup Uk, Elise Trophy, GT Cup, F3 Cup, BRDC F4

Bernies V8's (again provisional).

APRIL 13/14. Snetterton. Two day Meeting with the Classic & Sportscar Club. Saturday will have a 20 min qualifier and 200 min race on the new 300 track and a 20 min qualifier and 40 min one or two driver race on the 200 track. A total of 100 mins track time.

2. MAY 11. (four weeks later, Saturday), with the AMOC at Oulton Park on the big international circuit. 20 mins practice and a 40 min one or two driver race. Total track time of 60 mins.

3. JUNE 8/9. Brands Hatch with he MSV. After a good Meeting in 2012 with the AMOC, and our great Le Mans style start, we have now been invited by the MSV to partake in their own 2 day V8 and American style Meeting. Open practice will be on Friday, with a 20 min qualifying session on Saturday morning and 3 x 20 min races on Saturday and Sunday. There will also be Nascars, Pick up Trucks, Legends and a whole host of other activities that we are jointly helping with, making it a huge spectator extravaganza. 80 min track time.

4. JULY. Not yet confirmed but maybe some really exciting news. More to follow.

5. AUGUST 30/31. Donington. With the CSCC. 20 min practice on Saturday with our normal 20 min race and another 40 minute race on Sunday.

6. OCTOBER 4/6. Castle Combe. The second year for their own historic festival with a 20 min practice and 20 min race on Saturday and 40 min race on Sunday.

You can now view the 750MC calendar via their website. Great pity that Cadwell has been moved to mid October.....I don't think I'll venture that far north at that time of year! Southern Softie that I am. May do the CSCC meeting in June instead this year. Marshalling, you understand, not racing in a warm car!!
