Among the entries are 2 teams of Jaguar XKS, the usual Austin 7 s, Caterhams,Mini s, a Crossle 9s,
a Corvette,Proton Coupe, a team of Frazer Nashes, ETC
All good fun and a paradise for blue flag marshals.

I will be there - looking for this paradise for blue flag marshals. Does this mean that Silverstone is the Garden of Eden? If so, watch out for the serpent (if Mr Ecclestone is there of course)!

I'll be there as part of the Drayton Manor MG Metro team, although I'm restricted to Pitlane duties rather than driving "talent".
This will be my first time at the Birkett so I'm looking forward to seeing something a bit different.

This event is one of a kind great atmosphere, such a wide vatiety of cars and skills, and an ever changing field.
A super way to finish a season in a friendly event like this.
Hope you enjoy your day Stuart.

Alan Green should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Can someone confirm that this is happening this weekend (30th/31st Oct) - Saturday or Sunday (or both?)? - Which circit layout?

I'll not ask the blindingly obvious question like "need another flag marshal / trainee obs"

I've got a weekend off that i wasn't expecting, so this is a maybe...

Thanks, Al.

Yes it's on the National Cicuit. 41 teams have entered all with a minimum of 4 cars, ranging from Radicals to Austin 7's, along with the usual selection of Caterham's Hot Hatches, M.G's etc. As is the tradition when you sign on you will receive a "Thank You" from the 750MC. Practice is from 0900-1020 with the 6 hour Handicap Race starting @ 11am - see you there.

Thanks Paul / TFC - It wasn't whether or not it was on or not, just if it was this weekend as the date wasn't in Pete's original message.

Next question - who can I PM to volunteer (my email is kaputt at the moment, so i'll have to do it through here) - Pete Stenning or Pete Harding (or anyone else).

Al.
