Data logger file formats
Anyone wrote any converters for dataloggers so you can change the data from one format to the other? can't seem to find any on google.

The file formats and APIs to read/write them tend to be kept tightly under wraps. Converters themselves do exist but are mostly written by those with the budget to licence both SDKs. The development costs are significant so the converters aren't given away free online. If the two analysis packages can export and import to a 3rd party format (e.g. CSV, Matlab or Excel for example) then you can use this method to get the data from one to another.
The analysis package (and therefore the data file format) is often the strongest influence in terms of choosing a data system so to sell hardware, data analysis companies keep their formats secret to lock in the hardware purchases. |

Much as I thought, sadly.

What do you want to convert between?
I have a need to convert my Astratech stuff to PI CEW at some point and hence will be mapping out their respective file formats soon. I also have Stack and may fiddle with that, but that is less urgent as it invlove my kit car and I still haven't seen it's engine after five years! |

No formats in particular - however, I'm looking to develop an application that would need to do this in order to achieve it's other goals (sorry for being so vague on this, but it's early stages). Wanted to know if I'd be reinventing the wheel first!
