Risi will be going with Ben Keating to LM this year, but nothing more on their plans post-Daytona.

Brumous seems just to be for profit, and a racing program is bad for maximum profits. It has to be a high wire act getting sponsorships, pay driver line up along with a paid pro, some level of support from a manufacturer. |

I guess it's harder when there's more than 2-3 cars in the field, though. |

I always pulled for them, ever since my first PLM with the R&S Mk III? Then the Lolas, which I was quite fond of. The DP was a Pontiac powered Crawford, I believe. |

That's a pretty good point. From his GTO Firebird to the GTP 962 and the R&S MKIII, they were very much a team looking to leave their own stamp on their equipment. I read something once that Dyson pushed for the R&S MkIII to be built so he could be different than the rest of the guys who were buying the 333SP.

Very very harsh statement, but it seems that he didn't like the cars so hated on them whenever possible. No excuse now because they're gone! |

I think Rob has pretty much retired.
Chris is still playing around, he raced at the Chili Bowl last weekend. |

BMW says they weren't pleased with the BOP, yet seem to admit their car isn't running to its full potential at this stage:

They should have brought their own brakes, since they can be vehicle specific in some applications.
I would say when it comes time for a BMW race win anniversary some other date they should get a bop break. |

They got the two overweight guys from ford and corvette and talked to them together during the race, so is it the ford vs Chevy plotline this year? Maybe so, out of fear some fureign manufacturer might challenge the cadillac in prototype?

What do you think are going to be the deletions of entries from Daytona to Sebring? My guess is that there are going to be no additions. Grasser won't be there for sure. Others?

I realize it's probably up to Audi Sport more than the team, but would anyone be shocked if Land disappeared?

I project we will lose these entries from Daytona to Sebring 1) Both Chan DC Jotas 2) One United car 3) Both Grasser lambos 4)Risi GTD car 5)AF Corsee/Dalla Lana car.
That is 7 by my count. Sebring would be 43 car grid in that case. Assuming no additions. |

A single Jackie Chen/DC-Jota car in prototype certainly isn't beyond any imagination, especially after their decent result at the Rolex.
And 1 or 2 surprise GTD entries (a Rolex victory could be very helpful for an additional Lambo for instance) aren't either. My guess would be 45. Not bad. |

Audi Sport customer racing boss Chris Reinke has suggested that IMSA adopt a minimum refueling time for GTD in response to Land's penalty at Daytona.
