Maybe Cougar, but I don't see Qatar, Dubai, Bahrain or Malaysia drawing much of a crowd, which would kill any drama or excitement that may be created. They don't draw well for F1. I hope I'm wrong.

Thanks for the correction KB. I knew about Brands Hatch, but when I said Europe, I was thinking more Italy, France, or Germany, etc. ...

The idea of it being in the Middle East is that we can switch on the TV on a freezing winters day and watch racing in the sun!

Thats true, but it would be even better to be there in person this winter!

I reckon you might just see a round in New Zealand in 2007 at the all-new Hampton Downs circuit near Auckland. Check out the track at www.hamptondowns.com

At least you can go to one of the races. The Australian round is most likely going to be in Eastern Creak in NSW and I am all the way in WA.

mabs-nsx, well i was just thinking "oh to have a 3-4hour drive to the circuit"I'm in Melbourne and if the round is at EC as expected then its a 8 hour drive each way and for people such as you its a long flight or a several day journey!

Well,I remember going from London to Oulton Park and back in a day in 1961 by train & bus! If a 5 hour drive is to tiring why not try public transport? Shewsbury-Paddington-Victoria-Swanley.Hopefully their will be a shuttle bus to the circuit which I hope to be on.
