Viso to Carlin?
Rumour at the moment.... I think this would be a mistake from Viso.
Though I think he's not been left with a choice as if the rumours are true, P1 is not going to be about much longer (and .:. Carroll to Promatecme...I've heard)

Wow thats really sad news, if thats true. There are quite a few teams out there with a spare seat available such as Carlin,Menu and ADR. The latter being the most succesful of those teams so far this season. What a line up that would be Power/Carroll or Power/Viso

it wouldn't be power/carroll for long though would it, will's going to run out of wedge soon...
i think it would be a mistake for ernesto to go to carlin. i'm not quite sure why, but i get the feeling it would be a bad move. |

No, good call bella. Hopefully they can sort things out and carry on as they are,it would be a shame for the hole team and drivers if things came to an end!!

anyone know Viso's history before F3, he seems to be a constant "possible winner" in F3 but every time I watch he seems way of the pace or just not able to race wheel to wheel.

Carroll to Menu? Very dubious. And would also be very bad form on Adam's part after Rolly went out of his way to put Adam in that seat.
Viso to Carlin? Immensely stupid. Not much more to add to that really except that his form this season is no reflection on P1. More likely the nut behind the wheel..... |

If its paddock rumour then why did you start up about it on here, you know things can get out of hand on here! To be honest it will be sad IF that happens but for now we have no source to go on and this should be closed!

Not rumour is the story in today's Motorsport News. P1 team manager Roly Vincini says Carroll will "hopefully" be racing at Combe this weekend, but there are budget problems. Viso is reported as saying he's not going to Carlin.

adam's always been short of money though, this is nothing new. i'd be worried if i was ernesto though, i tend to think that if carroll's got budget problems, the whole team has them.

I suspect Viso has a pretty solid contract with P1, but still think that Carroll might end up back with Menu. MN seems to spend its time looking for doom and gloom lately.

If its true its very sad as Rolly is a top bloke and very good at his job, with very good results this season,lets hope some people do help them take the fight to PK and Fortec.....

Ernesto isn't short of funds though. Perhaps the problem is he's carrying two drivers on one budget. That's okay at the start of the season when the budgetless one can hope to campaign for a sponsor to top up funds mid-season, but if no sponsors are forthcoming?
It's hard to believe that even with Adam's success in F3 there are no British companies interested in putting money into the sport. Such a shame, Roly is great as is the P1 team in general. |

carrolls irish, he would be better looking there. besides after years of white sponsorless overalls this year he is clad in puma with SRS logos and sutton images badges, how can he be broke again? especially after the cash he won at snetterton?
