Whispers from the powder room suggest that a change may be in the air for one of V8 Supercar's long serving teams.

It has been suggested by the powderettes that a change in brand has been agreed

To Holden!

But allegedly not just any Holden... Full works spec WP supported brand new VE Commodores!

Announcement scheduled for 11am tomorrow

Assuming any of this actually happened

there was a qld based ford team with a lot more dollars that was making noises about going to Holden not that long ago..

Big call GTR from the powder room, but as someone else said, this all that the supertaxi series needs is two more WP cars. And will there be some noses put out of place on the dark side of the fence.

Good to hear!

If it's true, the first thing I would do is get rid of A. Jones and put in someone like Luke Youlden who could really get the best out of this car.

I am awaiting 11AM tomorrow now!!

Not Mr Sirromet and apparently not the one mooted at beginning of the year either. Can't see any Holden team going to the other side now as Ford are not giving many teams money now.

Not that i know of unless the pressure is coming from VESA/TEGA. I would think Ford would have to come up with some money to get a team to switch. PWR i would think would be the only team that may be interested now.

Well, if this is true, Kudos to Brad and Kim. It takes big men to stand up and say "we're simply not good enough" They've done this before with their engine dept and switched to the gun SBR units, but even that didn't move them up from scrapping for 24th.

What success, if any, could now be credited to their team, which has done SFA on their own merit? it will it be simply the strength of numbers coming out of Clayton.

Motorsport dies just a little more.........
