Chassis Tuning via Wheel Offset

Hi: I race a vintage Formula Ford, have been racing for about 10 years, and am usually fairly competitive in a very competitive group (many don't believe this happens in Vintage, but...). Since most of the road courses we race on tend to be either predominantly right or predominantly left-hand turns (e.g., 9 rights, 3 lefts), I've been experimenting with using different wheel offsets on the left and right sides of the car, off-setting the CG approximately 1". In theory, this would reduce roll and reduce the weight transfer to the outer wheels. Depending on the track, I would say there is some potential here. Any opinions??
