Oh and case anyone is wondering the PMC Midland Trophy race is a combined race for Porsche Open and Porsche Club cars so expect a big grid for that one.

Mike Kelly 1 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Just got back off holiday to find that I have to go into hospital on the Tuesday before the 24 Hours for yet another operation on my leg. Sadly this means that I will be unable to marshal . Having enjoyed the first two Britcar 24 hours I am a bit hacked off about missing it but hopefully the operation will result in me being able to kneel on my right knee again which is something that I have been unable to do since breaking my leg back in 2004!

If any one is able to "obtain" a goodie bag for me I will me really grateful.

wonderin were you had been mike, not seen u for a while. shelagh is prob the person to ask for a goodie bag, wont be the same without you in the bar and messing around with the dutch supercar lads. cant you do what flash did last year when he hurt is ankle and help with pies, pack lunches all around the circuit, means you can still go but get a nice car to roam around in???

on another note, anyone else seen the updated entry list, the race was a cracker last year with 60 ish cars in it but already up to 81 this year with a few places left, some big names coming back again this year, thinking more along the lines or duller msport than luther blisset and les ferdinand but still gonna have to try and find them guys for a piccy!!

I can vouch for Gravel Monkey, Stig it was a free bar supplied by EERC(went down well0 Also you are able to camp at the curcuit on Sunday night as I have done it for the last two years.

2005- we used the FIA grid.

Thats odd! I'm sure I put it my name down for it, have also talked to Roy about me repeating my usual role of Startline then Woodcote Gap flag.

Thanks Ed, I hoped you had and that you might be up for the Gap again - you did a grand job last year. I've got your dad on my list but not you. Maybe you volunteered to Pam Dearn at Silverstone? She passes the non-ES duty names on to me but I haven't got those for our September meetings yet.

A revised Programme is now avalible on the EERC website www.eerc.co.uk . Only a slight change to the one I posted on this tread. There will be no Motorracing Legends this race has been replaced with a Joint Production S1 Britsports race on the sat and a 30 min warm up for all 24 hr cars after lunch.
Also on the site is an updated entry list.Currently standing at around 75 80 cars.

Pieman

we need to work out distribution strategy for food, batteries etc.

I have been thinking about this but zero improvements have come to mind. Do you have any thoughts on how we can deliver lunches in less than 3 hours as it took last year on Sunday?
