Central meeting point and a regular 'bus' service? If it's difficult to get lunch to the marshals, bring the marshals to the lunch.

Shelagh - I'll be in touch soon.

Woolley - thanks for the suggestion.

Everybody else - any other suggestions or requests to me ASAP please. What about if we were to deliver hot water for drinks and snacks?

Steve, yes you are.

Anybody else please step forward now. You'll be very welcome even if you can't make the whole event - qualifying on Fri, even just the evening, a full programme on the Saturday or just some fresh eyes and arms on the Sunday.

As I said in a previous post, I will not be able to marshal at this years 24 hours due to having yet another operation on my leg the Wednesday before the meeting. I can't remember who I volunteered through for the meeting though!

Mike, you're not on the BRSCC Midland Centre list so you must have volunteered to the ES Team (Pam Dearn).

Shelgah, I sent you a PM about this a few days ago with my contact details - I did say after last year's race that I'd help with lunch deliveries on the Sunday this year, so happy to give you a hand.

2 Vehicles, one for the inside and one for out??

Failing that... air drop them. find a friendly helicopter pilot.

We did have 2 vehicles last year - the problem is using the perimeter roads, you have to leave the car and walk through the spectator area to get to the posts to deliver the lunch bags. That is what lengthens the procedure.

IF we had enough bodies on post then we could get somebody to meet us, which would speed things up BUT that is currently not an option, especially with some of the more "remote" flag points with only one person.

EASY SOLUTION: All of you out there come and do the event and we'll have people to spare!!!!!

I want to, but you keep making it clash with something else. Before you set the date for next year, ask me when I'm free!

Does anybody know what the camping arrangements are for this and the LMS the following weekend.

Previously the 24hr camping has been on the inside, while events like the LMS have been on the outside of Copse. For those of us doing both it would be nice if the camping was in the same place, preferably on outside, so tents etc could be left.

Hah! Yeah, same problem here - but in reverse.

Tried to get to Donny at the same point as Silverstone last year. Silverstone won.

Camping will probably be on the inside of Copse for 24hr, as its been there for the last two. But Mr Tucker will make a liar of me and change it as ive openned my mouth.

Okay, Any idea when the passes are being sent out - I'm probably going to be on holiday right up to the event, so I won't be at home to recive them if they don't get here by the time I leave...

Kevin.... I would think the passes are only going to be sent in the week before... however there should not be any difficulties in getting in... the security are normally okay by you proving you are a marshal... if there are any probs on the day you can call me on 0773 481 1961 ... keep checking on here if you can for sign on times etc as I am sure they will be posted...

Regards Roy
