FastDB2s should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Sutcliffe Peter

I notice that in the driver files you dont have any info on Peter Sutcliffe, seeing as he was one of the most important thing's that happened to the GT40 project, I am slightly suprised.
I know that one of his 1st race's (1st race) was at Oulton Park & when he won the Granada Televised race also at Oulton he was in hot water with his parents as he wasn't allowed to race.
He presented the prizes at the Revived Autosport 3 Hr race at Snett last weekend, he was also at the Silverstone Classic.

Chris, there are loads of names that ultimately should be in the 'Drivers Files' but that forum is a slow burner, and down to you guys to add to. Peter Sutcliffe was presenting the awards at the recent HSCC Autosport 3 hours event at Snetterton. If I can get together a bit of basic info. I'll maybe start thread on him in the Driver Files, unless someone beats me to it!

Well I suppose I better start it off then
1st race as far I can work out (need to confirm it) was at Oulton Park13/10/56 Half Hour Speed trial in his MG TD 1.2 that he used for going to Uni.
2nd race should have been Sports Cars up to 1500cc on the same day. but he had a DNS / DNA
3rd race should have been Handicap for Sports Cars also on the same day
This is from 'A Record of Motor Racing at Oulton Park Vol 2 1956 & 1957, Peter Grant (Chevron Peter Grant ?) & Mrs Jean Bloxam was in the same 1/2 hr Speed Trial
The next race at Oulton was in the MG 25-5-57, the Television Trophy Race - Handicap for sports cars heat 1 (sponsored by Granada? which is what Peter was on about) which he won.
He competed in the Second Half Hour Speed Trial on the same day & went home to face the music unbeknown to him, his parents hadn't got a tv but a friend phoned to say that he had seen Peter win.
His parents waited up until he got home & went ballistic.
