Stupid decision and one I would imagine is not preferable for Dunlop series sponsors - Clipsal is too big an event to miss it

Am I correct in saying that the Adelaide round isn't promoted by V8SC (like most of the other rounds are)? Maybe just trying to get something from them, and this is part of the negotiations. Wasn't the DVS race at clipsal for this year meant to be canned, before it made it's way back on to the calendar ?

First year with the current spec cars. (VF Commodore, FG/FGX Falcon, Mercedes E63 AMG and S60 Volvo) With the Clipsal 500 support race gone, will the rookies once again have a round on a track by themselves like years gone by?

Asking teams to spend their budgets on new generation cars and then to be taken off the biggest meeting of the year will be a tough sell without some kind of sweetener? Maybe they're gunna be all entered into Bathurst 1000 as a second class in 2016...?

One would have thought when V8Supercars negotiated the deal with the SA Gov't they would have included DVS as part of the deal for V8SC to continue coming?

Maybe it was V8Supercars decision not to take the DVS to Clipsal?

Will that offset the potential loss of sponsor interest in Clipsal not being part of the calendar.

DVS doesn't wreck that many cars at Clipsal anyone, no more really than any other categories anyway.

And more surprising that about half of the tracks are street circuits. Some of the these guys run on shoestring budgets and street circuits are famous for being car-crunchers.
