Tbh i don't mind it at all that it is falling out of favour. The serie was just way way way to costly.

Imo the 'old' situation was much better. The old situation in which the UK, france and Germany all had their own championships (in which the lesser funded talented drivers at least could compete either for the win in the b-class or a top 5-10 in the a class) with a few "open" races (Macau, Zandvoort, Pau) in which the best of the best with the $ fought it out.

I was told told by someone from the Benelux area that they are now not competing in the F3ES at all this year. Signature, that is.

Aggree that Signature will not be racing in F3 Euroseries in 2012. Seems like they give up F3 in 2012, waiting for 2013 F3 Regulation.

I've they will not compete, it's gonna be a Mercedes party in the Euroseries.

So far we have 7 cars confirmed
Prema (3): Juncadella, Lewis, Müller
Mücke (2): Rosenqvist, Wehrlein
GU (1): Ellis
URD (1): Wolf

All Mercedes powered cars. There will be one extra Prema car, as well one Mücke (maybe two). No news about Jo Zeller Racing. British F3 won't have much cars either. Sad period for F3.

Only 18 cars at Hockenheim (no Tincknell or 4th Fortec). Sainz took the pole position for races 1 and 3.

First race today at 11.15 local (10.15 UK). Stream (starts 10 min before race, English commentary), live timing.

A pleasant surprise that F3 Euroseries is being streamed! And the commentary is delightfully rubbish in a Martin Haven sort of way. Who are the commentators?

Good racing. Famous winners. Plausible deniability?

????

Decent sized grid at Brands Hatch this weekend... should be 19 cars assuming all the regular F3ES runners seen in Hockenheim are there. British series contenders Jaafar & Tincknell (Carlin) and Ilyas & Uhrhane (Double R) are making guest appearances.
