GTD has had significant BOP adjustments for this round as well:

Audi and Ferrari should be much closer to the front.

Audi was the quickest there last year. Would have won unless Lizards ran out of fuel on last lap. I'm putting my money on the R8.

I will be cheering hard for the Porches this race. All 3 of them. Its a must win in fact. Way too many incidents. If they keep it clean someone could win it this time. I don't care if its the #91, #92, or the #17.

Hard to stick with a favorite car for the season . Too many variables with the BOP . But I agree this should help out Audi

Hmmmm. And I thought Daytona and Sebring were the first "normal" races...'specially since they've been around years before IMSA....

Wright (Dempsey) Motorsports driver Jan Haylen says they are not racing this weekend - per Twitter. AoP?

Two possibilities:

1. Wright Motorsports withdrew because of BoP concerns, in which case they have a ton of egg on their face right about now.

Or

2. They really withdrew for other reasons, and were simply using the BoP change as a convenient excuse.

I'm not ready to blame them. On paper the bop did look severely against them.

Hmm, yes it did but racing in a heavily BoP class, you know that you will get a bad BoP eventually.

Perhaps he just didn't want to spend money to go out on the west coast and use the BoP thing as an excuse.

The series pays way way too poorly.
