They could always define what a wet race is.

I love the fact that that wet races work great for the people who are in favour of making the race cars that have more power than the grip

There is already enough power to spin the wheels however the teams have worked out clever ways around the traction control ban to effectively mimic the technology by engine maps. Aside from the start itself you never hear a driver wheelspinning, not even out of a slow corner anymore.

Of course let's hope that's not a solution for wet races, bringing back traction control!

Somebody locked up and straight-linrd the first three corners in Mexico and obtained no advantage for starters!

Not even referred to the stewards.

You said that the person concerned "has the officials in his pocket" which to me infers he has, shall we say, 'undue influence'. I am quite sure that is not actually the case

I did say elsewhere that the no penalty decision for the first corner was inconsistent and so do agree that a penalty may have been appropriate, or at least should have been considered.

A wet race is one that requires the teams to use either wet weather, or intermediate tyres in order to proceed with the race, depending on the severity of wet conditions, during or immediately after it has rained.

What would be your definition?

Yes, that is fine, simple is always best.

However in the earlier discussion we had comments about the right and wrong sort of wet races, about the amount of power relative to grip, about when to red flag and when to carry on etc.

The fact is it is all a matter of opinion and the opinion that matters is that of the Clerk of the Course

Debate is over now however, roll on Abu Dhabi
