LNT buy into Zytek - Autosport print ed.

Wow ..... could this possibily mean that they might be back with a LMP2 or LMP1 chassis in the forseeable future ?

Mariantic are reporting that in Autosport , Ginetta G2 will be with Zytek power !!!

I dont know as I havent seen the article . The heading on "mariantic" mentions a Ginetta GT2 powered by a Zytek engine .

It didnt say anything about LMP ..... but im thinking that they have already run a Zytek LMP2 , so there is a connection there .

This is all very interesting, if you have been reading DSC over the last few months several hints have been dropped over the last couple of months between some sort tie up between Zytek and LNT. It is also worth saying that the new Ginetta G50 has already been crashed to a GT2 standard.

A GT2 G50 is a mouthwatering prospect, it already looks and sounds fantastic.

cripes - 4 new LMP1 and 2 cars in build at the moment in Zytek.......sports car racing is really taking off in a big way.......aparrently the LMS has 10 more prototypes this year compared to last year.

Big, big news...........

Of most interest (to me) is what type of engine they will put in the back of the LMP1's. The words Zytek and hybrid have become synonymous with with each other over the past couple of years (with both Bill Gibson and Trevor Foster openly stating that that is the route they would like to go).

I wonder..........a petrol electric hybrid?

Indeed - I presume something along this line is being referred to when they say they will be building an LMP1 which they believe will have a significant advantage over many of the existing cars.
