smoojie should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
According to Autosport "Its first day didn't quite go to plan, however, and the car returned to the pits after a lap on the back of a truck following a gearbox problem."

So did Klien do a Pizzaboy and land some journos on their noggins in a roadcar this year?

"becks" have really reduced their sponsorship over the past couple of years. That's a shame, as the colour schemes were are good match (+ excellent product).

I think we may see the livery change some time.
I mean really if they hadn't already sponsored the team for the past 7 years would u have known that was HSBC logo on the rear wing

I hope you are right alesi.

What a shame, it looks like one of my grandads old paint jobs in his shed.

They started with BRG - not 'quite' right in colour, but a darned sight better than this mess.

Very sad, but that's only the outside, it's what's under the hood that counts.

I wish them well.

I think they would prefer it was BRG also, but IIRC, they paint was too heavy and did'nt show the sponsors well on TV (similar to Ferrari).

Word from the paddock is Jag have only completed 1 R5 which Klien is driving as it will be easier for him to addapt from F3 to the new car. The car MW drove was a R4 hybrid so he could give the new engine transmission a belting.Looks like he found a drive shaft problem.Rumour has it a drive shaft broke which took out part of the suspension. The car is to heavilly damaged to be repaired so MW has to wait till Thursday arvo when he will drive Kliens R5 (if the kid doesnt bend it).I suppose we will have to wait till then to see if it will be any good.

The Grump1
P.S. I am a fan of both Jag and MW and dont expect paint to stay that way as I believe there are a couple more sponsers to be added but deals are not signed yet.Got to admott that the Pioneer front wing looks imposing.

Looks abit conservative...but of course that means not a thing to performance,so i hope they go well again this year.
It would be cool if they had sidepods like the renault ot massively wasted sidepods like the mac.
To be honest the green has allways bugged me.They do it so light to show up on tv but it just looks dumb onscreen.

just a article in on bell from F1Central

American Eyes Jaguar Test Drive

Bell hopeful of securing third seat

American racer Townsend Bell is hopeful that a recent run in the Jaguar R4 at Valencia may turn into a full-time F1 testing role.

'I'm hopeful,' he told reporters after his event in Spain.

Bell, 28, reckons the reserve and testing role - which would see him drive in official sessions on Friday - is a great way for new stars to crack F1.

'I was happy when the FIA made that rule change,

It's just early testing 'n all, but the car still hasn't posted any decent times yet. If nothing else, it's a bit curious? Some speculation: http://www.grandprix.com/ns/ns12401.html

yes pace hasn't been hot but then again klien as done all the work in the R5
Marks only had I think 5 laps in the car the rest of the time he has been in the R4.

Klien was quicker than sato today. But its testing so who knows . I don't think much can be read at this time
