Japanese F1 GP - Suzuka 2009

g'day all!!!

well I am travelling to Japan this year for the GP and I'm after any hot tips or advice on what to see and do?

Where are the best spots to view? take photos?

and any inside knowledge that I should know about???

A tough question really. If you want to just see the cars at high speed then the S-Curves or first 2 turns would be a good spot.

If you want to see any possible passing then it would have to be the final chicane.

I'd say the complex of esses from the third corner would be a vary special place to watch these cars...or degner...or 130-r...or the first corner...Well the list goes on but I think it's fair to say you're going to see some pretty impressive stuff.I cant wait for it! how long has it been since they went to suzuka? 2006?
I have to go there some day.

yeah I went to Spa and (stupidly) Valencia last year....

so with suzuka back I am hoping it will be a lot like Spa!!!! 2008 was a cracker!

does anyone have any "on the ground experience"?.... I am looking for advice on where you can walk, as there didnt seem to be any GA tickets sold? so I am hoping that with my grandstand seat (dunlop curve) I can still wander all over...

ideas?
