GRAND PRIX de PAU HISTORIQUE
Haven't got much detail yet, but understand Historic F2000 and F2 grids will be there.

Half the HSCC HFF2000 crew at Pau and a few others too - but no post on this thread.
I found the entry lists on the official site but no sign of a results link. Must be some qualifying info around somewhere ... any suggestions? |

No, haven't found any. If you search engine for HVM Racing you should find links on their website for timing and results....

Can't help in this matter sorry. All you can have, if lucky, is Live timing and entry lists. The system they use doesn't work very well. ATM is FF2000 race, probably one of your on the podium (Tom Smith).

If so, that would be good news for Tom Smith (& Delta of course!) in view of the dramas he had getting to Pau.

Yep, well done Tom. Looks like a close finish for the first three and Tom got fastest lap. Steve Nichols second in class and well up over all. Looks like the field was quite well compacted so I suspect a safety car event or more likely some sort of yellow flag activity. I note that Andrew Smith was running well up but dropped out about 4 laps from the end. Not quite enough info available to make a proper analysis. |

Team Delta had a good weekend with all 5 cars finishing . We were made very welcome and sure hope the FF2000 get invited back again next year . Second race was run 75% under safety car as we had a couple of incidents . That's the only problem at Pau . When the field is strung out it takes a couple of laps for the crocodile to form up,and then the marshalls who were blooming brilliant working in 30 degrees plus can then get stricken cars out of the way . Think the F J will be back next year probably take over the F2 slot that was poorly supported.

As Iain said - Pau was a great weekend. We had a lot of nervous drivers before the first session but they all came back with big smiles. It's a circuit well suited to FF2000s. Surprisingly, with temperatures in the mid-thirties all weekend, there were no major overheating problems.
