AT LONG LAST

To all the guys and gals in orange or white, a date for your diary-
Sunday August 16th 11am Goodwood Circuit.
A small memorial and unveil "THE BENCH" for Stevie Stares will take place outside the Jackie Stewart Pavillion on the above date.
All welcome( if you are not racing) perhaps bring food and drink for after, up to you.
Once again thankyou so very much for your donations.

Many thanks to all of you who have read my previous posting re Steve's Bench unveiling ceremony.
I am aware that August 16th may be problematic for many of you to attend; however my hands were tied on this one, as the event had to coincide with Goodwood Motor Circuit's wishes. This was the only date available to suit both Steve's family, and which did not clash with events at Goodwood.
The Revival meeting was not an option from Goodwood's point of view for the unveiling; however if you are working at the Revival, you will get to see the bench, and as one colleague text me to say "can have pleasure in sticking your a*** on Steve (the bench that is of course!!)"
I hope you can appreciate how difficult this one has been to coordinate, but maybe wherever you are on the 16th you will have a quiet moment at 11.30am when the dedication will take place.
