SMP Car #44 will dominate imo.
45 cars, I hope all their FCY buttons are working. |

Do SMP really have 4 chassis & engines ??? 2 each for ELMS & WEC ?? Maybe this is why Greaves couldn't get a Nissan engine sorted !!! Or will Silverstone see a reduced number of BR01s ??

In answer to my own question, only 1 BR01 in ELMS. This may be old news, I just missed it at the time.

At least it's called strictly SMP Racing this year, and not AF Racing SMP presented by SMP Racing AF Corse powered by SMP Corse brought to you by AF Corse or whatever. Though I'm sure they are still involved in there, and obviously in LMGTE the inter branding AF-SMP mess in the liveries continues to riot on.

8 chassis?! Is this showing finger to the ACO spec regs?
Will laugh if say by 2019 Riley and Dallara are still only supplying like 5 cars globally, while SMP has huge fleet of grandfathered few year old BR01s laying around, eligible for ASLMS Last edited by Deleted; 15 Apr 2016 at 11:33. |

SMP has withdrawn their second entry and the G56 Oak-Pescarolo is a no-show. Murphy LMP3 entrant still is shown as Ginetta instead of Riley

I thought that the second SMP was replacement for the "Courage" BR01 that never showed up.

It was a deal put together by the galaels but given gp2 clashes going forward they'll probably only show up again for the last round or two.

Not the worst thing that's ever been done, but India and Indonesia are both huge countries, and that kind of error should be very easy to avoid. |

"Innovative cars"
Don't know if someone already noticed this http://www.europeanlemansseries.com/...E+CAR&race=114 what's this? A place to admit hybrids, LeMans24 "Garage56" like entries, SCG cars?

It's just the possible G56 placeholder, not actual category. Just like the Deltawing in it's special dispensation realm, no-one else allowed.
Interestingly though, in the updated Le Mans regulations, it says two "Innovatives" may be entered for Test Day only. |

Murphy, still lacking the Riley, has canned the Ginetta now too for Onroak P3 chassis. So at Imola, there will be a full spec "Ligier" grid

If the Riley does turn up for the LM support race Murphy will have had to run three different P3 chassis in 3 races. |

Lol when Murphy was running Ginetta at Silverstone, the timing lists titled it as "Riley". Now that they are running Onroak at Imola, it's been retitled as "Ginetta". At this rate, even if they get Riley for LM support race, timing is probably gonna refer to it as "Ligier"
