John Bowe to 888???
Have been reading this Forum for quite some time and notice that GTR seems to know whats going on. GTR a while back(on another Forum) said that JB was going to 888 with Ozemail money next year. Could GTR tell us wether that still is the case, was it ever the case and when exactly will it happen?

I would think Bowe would be more likely to go to DJR than 888 but that is only personal opinion. I would guess if he did leave BJR there would be 3 possible teams he could go to; DJR, 888 or FPR.

I'm sure he will, to deny a rumour started by yourself. I would like to know(as would other members) why you started such a damaging rumour? As the self procaimed Guru of V8's, one would think you would be a little more thoughtfull towards the Teams.

It'd suprise me if he went back to DJR. Bowe is in with Ademeir/PHR in Nations Cup, and from what we have seen in the past DJR aren't too keen on their drivers doing 'dual' programs, though Bowe did drive the Ross Palmer Ferrari F355 between 1996-1998 when with DJR.

Seemed to be a bit of chat around the Bathurst traps this very weekend that Bowe to 888. The other rumour related to Ozemails sponsors for next year, maybe not the green and white colorscheme.

Why wouldn't you run Bowe in the third FPR car to fast track development?If Ford were to move him from the Ozemail team, this is the only scenario that makes any sense to me.

Bowe is sponsored by FPV and does alot of promo for them so there could be a door open for Bowey at FPR. But I think he will stay at OzEmail, he always says he wants to stay there because he gels in well with the team and wants to end his V8 career at OzEmail and with BJR.

I guess it does beg the question about that very strange interview in NZ when JB said "I was told to say it is a mechanical problem" - the whole thing was a bit odd don't you think ??
