Are we officially back to calling the events "rounds" again?

The TV advertisements for the SMP event prominently advertise it as "Round Nine", and the Sandown 500 TV advertisements prominently market it as "Round Ten"

We could ban the TCM car with JESUS plastered all over it in case someone converts religion also

Chaz qualified really well at SMP last year, if they can combine that with their improved race pace he will be well within a shot of some more wins.

I'm tipping Scotty to dominate qualifying again but unless his starts improve, especially somewhere like SMP where the field can eat you alive by T2, he will struggle to win here.

What kind of weather is western Sydney going to put in this coming weekend?

Not really any different to walking around the paddock at a Supercars event and seeing the Kids area, then walking abit further and seeing the Coopers Bar is there?

What about the kids that buy Frosty's Bottle-O merchandise?

Totally agree, I refuse to buy my son any Bottle-O shirts. Like the old "The Team" shirts from DJR, it is just tacky and wrong.

I've never really understood why OP drew such big crowds compared to what is now called SMP. It would be nice to see that number of people at SMP, would be good for everyone.

My son wanted a David Reynolds T-shirt couple of seasons back and so without really thinking along those lines I purchased the shirt with Bottle-O written across it. Was only once he had it on I realised that it looked kinda wrong but he of course had no issue with it, life went on. Then he wore it to school on casual day. Lots of parents made comment but nobody seemed to want to listen that it was a V8 team shirt. I'm OK with it, don't really care what certain people had to say about it...that t-shirt is not going to harm anyone including my son.

Yeah thats cool man, totally respect your opinion. Its a personal decsion, and for me i just doesnt seem right. And anyway, these days the young fella loves Danny Ric and Marc Marquez more than any Supercar team or driver, so the decision is easy, just not cheap.
