ARMAROLI & NEGRINI V6 engine

There is currently a '70s sports-racer for sale fitted with a 2 litre dohc injected V6 made by Armaroli & Negrini. The ad suggests the only one of type, but as I have never heard of it would be interested to know more about it!

Anyone?

fausto should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
That engine was built mid-70s by the two men the company was named after, IIRC both had Tecno background. For sure in the business until very little years ago, possibly still operative. Remember that Cosimo Turizio had the engine installed in his Osella chassis (1977), possibly won national race(s)...at the Vallelunga WC round, together with Gimax, very fast in practice (4th overall), remember the motor had loads of horses

Thanks fausto. So do you think it is a complete one off, built from scratch?

Looks good, and if it makes a noise anything like a GAA worth listening to!

If you are thinking of splashing out on a big V6 there is an Alloy Bonner engine for sale at the mo. Although you would need a bigger gearbox! 600 BHP though and awesome noise. I think £12k would lift it although that is only the start.

No Sam, the engine is fitted in a car- for sale in Italy and out of my price range! Would have been nice as car originally built in Norfolk.

Main concern would be keeping the engine going for next however many years if only one of type ever made......

Racing V6s can sound pretty special though
