VESA slip up???.... possibly

If anyone happened to be at Sandown, you may have walked right past the new series naming rights sponsor for the development series.

If you have a photo of the GTR safety car, find the main series logo just behind the front wheels on the bottom of the sill, then about you'll find another logo with Dunlop Series.

Not shown on those photo's and looks like it was removed from the cars in the official photo you grab from the VESA site.

I grabbed a photo, but still trying to compress it. I'll post it once soon unless someone else has a photo.

The KR photo of it still has it

I'm sure someone has a better photo of it, but yeah it definitely looks like they've discreetly removed it

Bingo!! I'll pop my photo up later.

If it wasn't for the two VESA employee's taking pic's of it I wouldn't have realised. I recognised the SERIES part under Dunlop, for the Fujitsu logo last year.

The Hot Favourite for this year's development series is surely defending Bathurst Chump, Nick Percat (Walkinshaw Racing), who is set to resume his 2011 battles with veteran racer Paul Morris (PMM).

Other leading contenders in this year’s Dunlop V8 Supercars Series will include Scott Pye (Triple Eight), second generation racer Tim Blanchard (MW Motorsport), Chaz Mostert (Ford Performance Racing), reality TV show winner Cameron Waters and David Russell (Kelly Racing), and George Miedecke (Sonic Motor Racing).

Granted that they've announced just announced a partnership with Virgin, but geez, another recycling of an existing sponsor.

I wonder if their event sponsorship money has just been 'moved' here?

Nah!!! Given the amount of media there over the weekend, it took them till Monday afternoon to mention anything. Shows how swept up they where with everything else and missed something like that right under there nose.

And like hell would they give credit to any of us on here for something like that, would make them look.....you blokes can fill in the words there.

Like GTR said, the tradition continues on just like with AA, that they do most of there research via this forum and some of the others.
