His role in the Bathurst coverage could've been refined, but that did seem very much like a last-minute thing.

His downfall was his knowlege, and how to turn it into a question that would generate a useful answer.

Not a fan of Phelps or Crehan either. We just need more Cromptons, perhaps someone as polished but recently out of a race seat.

Stevie J spent quite a bit of time in the comms box for the on-course PA at Bathurst and did an exceptional job.....

Great effort from Pye to top 1st practice session:

I knows its only practice & doesn't mean much in the overall but after the heavy hit at Bathurst worth the kudos IMHO.

Given the track, I have to question the sense of these guys coming back from serious rib injuries at the Gold Coast - I really hope neither of them has another prang.

Also WHY is Steven Johnson on standby to replace Pye, when Ambrose has done all the test sessions and is fresh from Bathurst???

Ambrose is already the co driver in this enduro round, Rules stop him from filling both roles

Looks like a large flock of seagulls has shat on Cromptons head.
Edit, maybe it was the sunlight and angle as i thought that he had acquired some blonde streaks.
