Not one of the MSV Track Days you are referring to, but of great interest to marshals all the same - or should be - is a Marshals Race School Day on Sunday 30th October, at vast savings on retail price.

MARSHALS RACE EXPERIENCE DAY
Sunday 30th October 2005

Richard Peacock -Anglesey Performance Driving Centre – has kindly offered to run a Race School day specifically for the marshals benefit. This is as a way of thanking all the boys and girls in Orange for their help in making the Anglesey race meetings the success they undoubtedly are. Richard has offered a large discount – see prices below.
If you are interested in taking part, please contact the circuit direct to register your name and request a brochure / booking form
.
Email : admin@angleseycircuit.com

Phone : 01407 840253

Fax : 01407 840197

Post : Anglesey Performance Driving Centre
Estate Office
Bodorgan, Anglesey
LL62 5LP

There are three basic single seater [Formula Ford] Formula Race Car Trials [FRCT] you can do.
The differences – explained in the brochure – are basically, that after the briefing and saloon driving, you end up having one, two, or three lapping sessions in the Formula Fords [10,18 or 25 laps]

The normal public prices are :
FRCT1 £149 .......... FRCT2 £189 .......... FRCT3 £239

The Marshals discount prices are : FRCT1 £95 .......... FRCT2 £120 .......... FRCT3 £150

If you don’t fancy a single seater, you could do a “Saloon Circuit Driving Technique” course, public price £169, Marshals discount price £105

High Speed Rides
As a passenger in a two seater Sports Racing car
public price £35 Marshals discount price £20

Hope to see you there, Best regards

Don't forget to e-mail me if you want to be added to any of the lists. There are still plenty of spaces available and it really doesn't matter what car you drive. The idea is to have a fun day, not set lap records!

Many of us are working on getting a few drivers along to give rides in race cars etc. Too early for full details yet but it should add some excitement to the day if the last Cadwell day is anything to go by!!!!

Normally there are limited numbers available at the circuit, but if you can take your own or borrow one, it makes life a lot easier.

We are currently trying to get a few more drivers along to OP to give some 'hot rides'. As soon as I have final details I'll let you all know.

So far we have between 40-50 marshals booked for Oulton Park so plenty of space left. Come on you guys and girls, get those e-mails in to me as soon as possible to book your place. Dont forget to mention it each time you go racing in case the guys on post with you haven't heard about the days.

Trackdays eh? nice idea, but I'd better get a different car.

Peugeot 106 (1.1) not much cop on the track, and insurance is through the roof already.

Now if it's possible to hire a car for a day...

You would be surprised at the cars people take. Remember this is not a race day but a fun day to enable you to drive a circuit in safety. Most people don't insure their cars for track days hence my request for everyone to 'take it easy'.

So far there have been no major problems, so please try to come along and enjoy the day

don`t forget mate to move over to the RIGHT whilst I pass yer
Importantly folks it`s not a race, it`s time to drive to your capabilities not your cars capacity, as we some times say "it will end in tears" a word of advice if you can get an instructor to go out with you to learn the proper lines take the chance..

Personally I cant wait to have another blast round Cadwell and Brands in something quick. I was fortunate to have the loan of a very quick seicento at Cadwell in february by Wolfdirectracing and a race Punto at Brands and what a blast.
I'm not sure what I'm gona drive yet but I've got a cinquecento abarth thats looking to be thrashed.

Took my old 205 1.8D round Cadwell, enjoyed every minute of it - doesn't matter what you drive, just go out and enjoy yourself.

why not? it'd be quicker than the 2CVs that raced earlier this year!!!!!

It really doesn't matter what ya drive, just enjoy the fact that you can drive the circuit without having to stick to the speed limit...

Well as u probably know , no racing allowed on track days, but I'll give ur pug a run 4 its money. Believe it or not my chinky will do 125 ! Its a flyer! Its standard 1.1 with induction kit and sports exhaust, due to have a 4 branch manifold from Wolfdirectracing fitted and polybush suspension bushes as well by then so should hopefully handle better then and go a bit better.
