They've got 2 championship rounds - 1 on Saturday, 1 on Sunday.

Off the track, look out for Jonathan - he's an Irish marshal but he's not marshalling this weekend, he's going over with the RT Crew - I'll tell him to look out for you too!

On the track...well... the hot tips at the moment appear to be John Whelan, Jonathan Fildes and Dave Collier. But surprises happen all the time with RTs so I wouldn't lay any bets at all.

My own personal favourite is Robbie Bolger who's not only a good racer but an all round nice guy! (not that the rest of them aren't nice of course.. )

If you want to take a look at them before they descend upon you, try www.rt2000racing.com

Other than that, ask Pinki about what they did at Brands last year......!

Claire - if you like, I'll ask Jonathan to come say hello - any idea where you're going to be posted?

Oh and don't say "I'll be the one in orange"

Hi EvilPumpkin, I'm afriad I don't know, it will only be my 2nd time marshaling there so I will have to wait and see, but I will be wandering round the pits before the day starts to look at the cars so I will keep my eye out for the team.

Pinki was miles away, what would he know anyway?
I was IO on post 3 (Paddock) - jeez those boys played a mean game of pinball off the barriers.

Pinball wasn't what I was thinking but then I was flagging at post 2 so had other things on my mind, like RTs going in all directions except forwards...

Didn't really get to see them at their full potential I'm afraid, 1st race finished under the saftey car and was wet and the race on Sunday(I went back for more)had quite a few laps under the SC and it was a 4 lap sprint to the end. They cars looked great, were very fast and a few would have dented panels!! I am looking forward to seeing them race on their home turf when they support the BTCC package in June.

Yes I believe the weather was quite bad - you were right about getting the rain gear out! Hope you didn't get too damp!

It was, I liked the cars but I didn't have anything to do for 4 hours!! Once they have a few more cars it should get better.

LOL - Jonathan had a good time I believe - got chatting to a few of the marshals. Apparently one of the long serving marshals actually saw something new under the sun - he said in 50 years of marshalling Snetterton, he'd never seen a car come off where one of the RTs did!

Woohoo! Another first for the Irish!

ooh almost forgot - Jonathan also got some great pics - some of them even have bits of marshals in them!

They're up on the RT website.

Let me know if you spot yourself in any of them!

Great piccies, show the change in weather conditions from the Saturday to Sunday!! Luckily I don't feature in any of them (this can only be a good thing)and I look forward to seeing them race again. I hope they enjoyed the weekend
