I'm not sure whether or not I'm going to get this. I'm hoping it doesn't turn into the grindfest that was Forza 3. The problem was with Forza 3 was that it's great that there was over 400 cars, there was a serious lack of variety in tracks. I might look at picking this up if they bring out an ultimate verison like they did with Forza 2 and 3.

The only thing that keeps me playing Forza 3 is racing at TORA. Without the competitive online racing element, I wouldn't play it.

Thats just business for you.
Its just like the BBC/Sky F1 deal, all the petitions and complaints in the world won't change things. |

So no Flying Lizard...obviously the "Official" ALMS license means absolutely nothing then. It's like producing an "Official" F1 game without Ferrari.

Perhaps if EA would actually design a good racing game I would not have a problem with it. Hydro Thunder by Midway has a more realistic handling model than either NFS Shift games.
Agree with the last comment especially. |

There goes all my hopes and dreams of finally getting a 917 and a 936 on a racing game.
It's such a waste that EA has the Porsche license, aside from their racing games being terrible, they also never bother to add any interesting Porsches, typically it's only a variant of the road going 911, Carrera GT, perhaps a Cayman and that's it. At least FM3 had a great variety and allowed me to get my hands on cars like the 911 GT1, 962, RS Spyder, etc. |

Under the Hood of Forza 4.
http://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/underthehood2/ Particularly interested in the profile carryover as that's the reason I've started Forza 3 again. Infinion added. http://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/infineon_fm4/ |

I already knew about Sears Point from some "leaked" footage from a few months back posted up on YouTube.
It seems Forza 4 will have trade-offs of its own to deal with: no night racing, no weather changes, and the withdrawal of Porsche. Unless you LOVED really technical tracks, Sidewinder, especially the full version, was just plain hell. So that's not a huge loss. However, it's pretty annoying that Rally di Positano was chopped, when it's miles better than Costa di Amalfi. New York was nice to have as well, so it's unfortunate that it's gone also. |

We have gained Hockenheim, Sears Point and Indianapolis. The more real tracks we have, the better.
The increased choice of real world tracks will benefit TORA's 2012 season very much! |

Honestly, the new Hockenheim just doesn't excite me particularly. I could take it or leave it. Sears Point is alright, especially the original layout, so it's nice to see that one. Indy is a great name in racing, but for a racing game, running it is hardly at the top of my list, even the F1 course. Like Hockenheim, I personally could take it or leave it.
The end result is, they've taken out a great circuit (albeit a fictional one), and added one okay circuit, and two that I'm pretty neutral about. In addition, they've left in the puny version of that track from FM3, and that layout isn't a very good one. So, it's still a rather annoying reminder of the full track, which they took out. If the old Hockenheim was included, I might change my tune some on this. I will say that I like the new Bernese Alps track. Also, the Top Gear test track is a bit like Indy as well. It's a nice name to have in there, but as far as actually driving it in a game, it's not really that spectacular as a circuit. |

Agree with Top Gear track, nice to try but for real cars and racing it's kind of weak. Really want to see more Euro tracks, Spa above all and old hockenheim would be great too. Was an old high speed run out into the woods and back right? But I am still thinking I'll have to get it, enjoyed FM3 but it has gotten old. Now to figure out which version to preorder.

Mind you I'm planning some really interesting spec series for the opening months of FM4. I think if I didn't have XBL Forza would have been a trade in aaaages ago, I'm simply not interested in the career mode. It'll be interesting to see how they've done that this time. See how much you REALLY have to do before you can get all the goodies :P |

Since I've got back into Forza 3 I've spent as much time creating cars as racing, the ability to download tuning set-ups as well as paints is a great idea.
Currently having fun with various Group A touring cars and tuner cars like the Abt R8 GTR and Polestar C30. |

The fun in Forza for me comes not from the career mode, but from online racing.
If I was not involved with TORA I wouldn't be playing my xbox. |

Although both games Single player career modes are fairly week, what spoils FM3 for me is being able to access all the cars straight away for a test drive. It removes all the mystery and anticipation from saving up for a new car. Plus I also think for FM4 they need to control access to the rewind feature, like making it unavailable in certain Championships because it reduces the challenge of the game. |

Latest videos, looks like T10 have topped GT5's graphics.

That wouldn't be hard, GT5's graphics are appaulingly inconsistant.

I have and WOW are the graphics crazy. The driving has its tough moments, havent played a lot yet but with the steering set to hard a LIGHT touch is needed for the 458 and the Mercury feels light at speed and washes out easily, like a muscle car would. both also drift responsively, more like sliding through a corner than a drifting game even with TC on but not slide control. Need to play more and havent tried the Subaru yet but Ill be preordering tomorrow. Just need to decide Alfa or BMW and if I want to limited edition for 20 more but has Bug supersport and 458 challenge.
