Which site are you on ? I know Redshoes-Racing has a fan zone but you'll have to go to the respective manufacturers site for order details.

As TL pointed out, you could have reached the forums from a number of sites. Looking through the Affiliates list, there seems to be eight Touring Car sites that are affiliated to use these forums, so unless we know which site you're using we can't really offer too much advice other than that already given.

For those who are blanching at the prices quoted by Grand Prix Models, a brief note of explanation.
These little beasties are hand-built gems. The differences can be seen when you compare them with a Minichamp or a Quartzo. The aerofoils will be proper scale thickness, the suspension components will be tapered like the real thing, and the paintwork will be absolutely flawless. These are not your mass-produced diecasts. Alternatively, why not be brave and build one. The kits that GPM offer are more usually found in the £25-£35 bracket, and go together very easily. Manufacturers like Provence Moulage pledge to make virtually every starter on the Le Mans grid each year, and with a minimum of assembly, and a little care over the paintwork, you can have a precise model of something you saw at La Sarthe. Plus the kudos of having built it yourself. Go for it, folks. It's a bit braver than plonking down money for a ready-built, but the satisfaction is more than worth it. |
