Brazil's Mario Haberfeld, who's had a disappointing start to the season with no points in the first two races, was fastest in this afternoon's second test session at Monza.

A bird has told me that Webber have found a shortcut in one of the Monza chicanes, so his laptime was so good comparing to the other ones.

Actually, it was not a bird, it was Haberfeld's press release to the brazilian press. Would that be true?

Maslov second? I think, he found the short cut! Or bought some talent at Malpensa...

According to Mario Haberfeld, Weber was cutting the first chicane to set a good time. He did it a few times, and some other drivers followed suite. Then the organizers put cones in place, after some drivers (Haberfeld) complained. In the afternoon no one had that advantage. The times for the morning (the ones posted) were disallowed! Haberfeld finished fastest in the afternoon. It's funny how Haberfeld is complaining, even though Weber is his teammate….It kind of makes sense, Maslov second, and now he's no even in the top 15?

So, here are the afternoon times. The official ones:
1) Mario Haberfeld, 1min39s801, 208,963 km/h;
2) David Saelens, 1min39s814;
3) Mark Webber, 1min40s021;
4) Giorgio Pantano, 1min40s046;
5) Patrick Friesacher, 1min40s116;
6) Antônio Pizzonia, Brasil, 1min40s151;
9) Ricardo Sperafico, 1min40s170;
10) Darren Manning, 1min40s206;
11) Justin Wilson, 1min40s347;
12) Rodrigo Sperafico, 1min40s515;

According to Melo Jr's and to the Petrobras's public relations, Webber and Maslov DID made a short cut, but their times WASN'T disallowed because nobody could prove so. It was Haberfeld the one who disallowed the morning times session, so Fiorentina's time list are actually Haberfeld's one, not the official one. The PR of Mario Haberfeld already apologized to the press.

According to this information, Pizzonia was the fastest at the first day. This is starting to get interesting...

GO JUNGLE BOY!

Getting his own back

Funny this, on the morning of the second day, I watched at the second chicane at Monza and saw Haberfeld shoot across the chicane.... on his way to setting his fastest lap of the morning!

Didn't manage to take him to the top of the times though, but I guess revenge is pretty sweet.

He spun off at the same chicane on the following lap.

Is that true!!! Hahaha, that's good old Mario! On his press release to the brazilian press, he said he was "angry with the dirty drivers who made short cuts in order to get a good lap".

Hahaha, revenge is always sweet!
